Our Treasurer is planning to step down later this year. John has stepped up to help her out in the meantime.

Laser Stewards' official statement: "Pew pew pew!!!"
Metal Shop - someone broke the vice. (The Secretary whistled innocently when this was mentioned.)
3D Printing - Stewards are waiting on a new index to assemble the next Prusa Core1
Wood Shop - Stewards have come in to find it dirty pretty regularly. Also Brian requested access to the space's security system; he also needs to be added to the Tools channel on Slack, and the Tools email list.
Auto Shop - An increasing number of sockets have gone missing. Don't put tools in your pockets!
Textiles - The loom and knitting machine are gone. They were given away in a raffle.

A new member has proposed setting up servers to do AI stuff in the Server Room / Kitchenette. Everything in that room is currently on 1 circuit. At least 1 more circuit would need to be added if this were to happen. Dave spoke with Jerry; he has no electrician he can recommend to come give a quote.
If we hire an electrician, we would also want them to trace and label all the currently existing circuits. Many suspect we have entirely unused breakers in our panels.

Kudos to board member Matt who has been very good at adding photos of new members to the Current Members sheet.
On Saturday, April 25th, Dave and Matt will staff a table for Area 515 at Ham Fest. A gathering of ham radio users.
Dave is planning to volunteer to do Ham radio stuff for the Market to Market race on May 9
It would be nice to get a better projector for the classroom. The one we have is a little dim.
Jerry, our landlord, says he is mostly retired now. He still has guys working on projects in his shop though, and his son or grandson may take over the business. We should check if Jerry owns the building or is leasing it. If we were able to take possession/the lease for the whole building we'd definitely want to sublease Jerry's section.
The Nest thermometer isn't working. Jake will bring a new one.
Dave brought in some extra servers he wants to use to beef up the security camera system. He also wants to explore other security camera systems. He plans to eventually use the 3 servers to create a virtual machine to run the security software.
Matt has figured out how to make the front door pull key numbers from shopify. Next we need to figure out a way to store the Current Members list in shopify so we can stop using Google sheets entirely.

Technically we never had quorum to adjourn so the meeting more just, kind of... ended?
The loom was sent off to a farm where it can run around outside and frolic with other looms.
"Who's actually in charge here?" "Not it!"
"Would you want to become a Full member?" "No. And that's not changing today 'cause you don't have quorum!"
